**My guiding principles are simple: To support my family, community, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution which forms this great Nation. Support means giving, not simply taking and exploiting. It means contributing your fair share to the defense and welfare of this country. I will follow these priorities as your Representative: Strength and Security; Rule of Law; Prosperity and Opportunity; and Protection of our Way of Life in the foothills and plains of CD6. The job of our government is to pass and enforce laws that solve problems without bankrupting the country. As a member of Congress, I intend to use my values, priorities and leadership to do just that.**

Mission Statement

Elbert County Democrats
Mission Statement

The Elbert County Democratic Party is building toward the future with
the fresh ideas, energy and commitment needed to help build our local
economy as well as make our county a more desirable place in which to live and
work.

With a Democractic Governor and a Democratic majority in the Colorado State
Legislature, Elbert County Democrats are poised to work in harmony
with the State Party.  Together we will provide the leadership that Elbert County needs
to overcome the current financial and social woes that have resulted
from over a decade of single party rule in Kiowa.

Elbert County Democrats are determined to establish a positive presence in the local
government and the county’s social fabric.  The Democrats are committed
to providing new solutions for Elbert County growth while
simultaneously preserving our rural tradition.  The Elbert County
Democrats resolve to offer county residents an alternative to the
local Republican Party by means of effectiveness and transparency.

With a new day dawning in Colorado, we invite you to join the new Elbert
County Democratic Party and to share your ideas as we work to move our
county forward.
